What is a Shadow Face?

 

 

A shadow face is a person's inner face or internal being that encompasses one's internal personality, deepest of thoughts, passion and true convictions that only his / her spirit knows. It is the inner life. Better yet and to be more technical, it is the repressed part of one's psychological makeup.

 

Are you aware of your shadow face? Do you understand or are you conscious enough to understand why you do the things that you do?

 

Most of us are in denial of our shadow face. For example, when accused of behaving in a certain disapproving way, we tend to become defensive and enact our defense mechanisms instead of acknowledging or being accountable for our participation in the offense. In other words, we know that we have problems, but we really don't KNOW that we have problems and the source of their history in our lives. Therefore, we know that our shadow face is there, but we haven't wholly internalized its meaning in our lives.

 

Once we tap into our shadow face or attempt to wholeheartedly comprehend it, then I believe that its main and most pertinent mission will be to lead us to self awareness. And self awareness leads to healing reoccurring or unresolved tests in our lives. The main vision of this blog is to share a collection of short stories of people gaining self awareness through their trek into completely knowing their shadow face and its role in their lives.    

Grooming in the Shadow Face

 

Groom in a peaceful stride, for

premature earnings can

destroy this earth-less tide.

An emergence of

new life births a balance

of nurture, strife and comfort

in each of our respects. 

One accordance leads

to a sea of boundless

prospect. Groom in delight

for new vision must take flight.

Our chains bind to the One

which guides our flow. We are

happy seekers, content

with life's rhythm rowing

with our chosen path. View

the sandy skies and conditions of love.

Remember to Groom

in its endless run.

The Soul's struggle

is so deep, shadowed

by tainted forms.

FIGHT, fight to come back.

Don't die. All the life

around is counting on you,

don't you see you.

Life is your divine right.

The signature of

your life is truly yours

in its own image, lost and then Found.

But always remember to

groom in its shadowed and beyond sounds.
